Cigna Coverage Availability & Fees
Cigna Dental offers three dental benefits plans:
- Cigna Dental Preventive
- Cigna Dental 1000
- Cigna Dental 1500
These are fee-for-service plans. This means that in exchange for your monthly premium payments, you are eligible for discounts on treatments you and your family need regularly to have healthy teeth and gums.
As with your car and home insurance, you will need to satisfy a deductible. That’s the amount of money you pay out-of-pocket before your Cigna dental insurance coverage begins to pay for treatments.
Once you meet your deductible, you’re eligible for a specified amount of coverage over the course of a year depending on which plan you choose. With all of Cigna’s plans, however, preventive care is covered at 100 percent and no deductible is required. Like Dr. Raj, Cigna takes your oral health seriously. For other services, Dr. Raj and his staff will work with you to schedule appointments in order to use your benefits most effectively.
